She retired after serving as a state employee with 30 years of service. She was a financial examiner for the last 12 years of her career.

She believes in women’s reproductive rights, civil rights, a livable minimum wage, affordable healthcare for all and climate change. She is dedicated to promoting and electing Democratic Party candidates.

She enjoys traveling and spending time with her son and grandson.
